“Flawless Success: Spain’s Yamal Achieves Perfect Results in Secondary School Exams”

Lamine Yamal has not only propelled Spain into the knockout stages of Euro 2024 but has also excelled in his academic pursuits, announcing that he successfully passed his secondary education exams. Despite breaking into Barcelona’s and Spain’s starting lineups this season, the 16-year-old remains dedicated to his studies. His commitment both on and off the pitch reflects his determination to succeed in all aspects of life.

“I passed the exams and now I have my ESO title,” Yamal shared with Spanish radio station Onda Cero.

“When I saw my final grades on my phone, I quickly closed the app, called my mom, and shared the news with her.”

Spain, emerging as favorites after winning all three of their group stage matches, including victories over defending champions Italy and Croatia, now gear up to face Georgia in the last 16, potentially setting up a showdown with hosts Germany in the quarter-finals.

“Everything we achieved in the group stage will count for nothing if they eliminate us on Sunday. We’ve faced them before in the qualifiers, but we understand it will be a different challenge,” Yamal emphasized.

As Spain aims for an unprecedented fourth Euros title, Yamal, whose 17th birthday coincides with the eve of the final, hopes they can make it all the way.
